The possibilities that are on the table with stamped concrete are seemingly endless. The concept behind stamped concrete is pretty simple. Still, this simple concept allows us to create all sorts of unique looking surfaces. Perhaps the best part of the whole ordeal is that it doesn’t have to be an overly expensive service. Our stamped concrete surfaces are also built to last. The way that we see it, it’s truly a win-win scenario across the board. It’s a method that allows us to create 100% unique areas. At the same time it doesn’t make the surface more vulnerable or anything like that.

A lot of times what happens is that a client sees a particular concrete surface and they come to us, and literally task us with replicating that surface. Will The Finish Really Last?

One of the knocks that people have on a stamped concrete finish in general is that the stamped concrete look won’t be durable. It will start to deform, and things like that. The way that we see it, a stamped concrete finish can definitely be built to last potentially just as much as a simple concrete structure would. The difference is really in the design. If you want a stamped concrete finish with certain features that are more prone to wear and tear and then you run heavy duty trucks over the surface all day then yes, that area can wear out quicker. We can account though for the amount of wear that surface has to withstand and create a design that can last longer.

Upgrading An Existing Surface

When we are handling overall repairs we want to make sure that we are able to offer a wider array of options. It’s not just good enough that we are able to seal some cracks and get the area looking ok. Granted, if that’s what you need we can get that done for you. However, adding a stamped concrete finish can very well be a way to upgrade from a dull existing surface.

There are certainly different options that are going to be available. Getting a stained concrete finish comes to mind as another reliable option. At the end of the day it really comes down to the type of look that you’re going for.
